who am i?

Hi, I’m Lola.

I’m a Mornington Peninsula-based Australian qualified Physiotherapist with over 12 years industry experience, who also holds a Bachelor of Arts, as well as being certified in Yoga, Pilates and the Bradcliff Breathing Method. I am also an advanced freediver and PADI Mermaid Instructor. I’ve worked in small business and community management. It’s a great combination that gives me a unique set of skills.

I know how to make health and wellbeing accessible to a wide range of audiences.

I understand the complexities of healthcare - I’ve worked as a physio with patients across a range of clinical settings. I teach regular yoga and pilates sessions and regularly facilitate wellbeing workshops in a range of settings from studio collaborations, private small groups and corporate wellness sessions/retreats. My practice is underpinned by science and informed by the art of caring for humans. I work in an holistic manner that respects the important body-mind connections and blends the best of what eastern and western healthcare practices have to offer.

I am passionate about delivering quality workshops and retreats.

I also have a deep love for the ocean. Freediving is one of my big passions, because it blends breath work, mindfulness, wellbeing and adventure so seamlessly. For me it is the antidote to a world that can be too serious and heavy at times.

My Approach

I love to work collaboratively, and believe that there are many ways to cook an egg! I will meet with you to talk thoroughly about your needs and desired outcomes, and together we can plan, design and create your perfect workshop or written content piece!

I am detail-oriented. I care about my work and about your needs, and always work according to my values - honesty, integrity, accountability, care for humans and the environment, and doing good in all aspects of life.

As an instructor/facilitator I believe that a participant’s role is to learn, not to know all the answers. I believe that creating safe, supportive and fun environments are essential in any type of event or workshop space.

If you’d like to find out more about how I work, and if I can help you - we should chat! Get in touch via the contact page to organise a time for a meeting (virtual or in-person) to discuss my services and how we might work together.
